Thirteen years breaking software. Now I use AI to do it.

I lead QA strategy across web, mobile and IoT (manual, automation and API), and I build the AI tooling that removes the repetitive half of the job: custom Claude skills, plugins and agents that plug into the systems a team already uses.

QA Manager / AI Automation Builder 13+ years in QA 5 engineers led web · mobile · IoT · fintech ISTQB certified

Profile

Quality is a state of mind, not a checklist.

I've defined and run QA strategy for EdTech, fintech, IoT payments and defence products: recruiting and mentoring engineers, setting E2E practice with manual and automated coverage, and partnering with R&D on what's actually worth testing.

The second half of the story is newer: for the last stretch I've been building AI tooling with Claude. Skills, plugins and scheduled agents that take a process someone was doing by hand every week and turn it into one command. Same instinct as QA, different output: find the repeatable thing, make it reliable, then make it boring.

AI Toolkit / what I actually build

Tailor-made skills, plugins and agents.

Off-the-shelf AI gives generic answers. The value is in encoding your process, your file naming, your checklists, your edge cases, so the assistant does the work your way, every time, without being re-explained.

Custom Skills

One command instead of one hour

A skill packages a real procedure: the inputs, the rules, the format of the output, so a recurring task runs identically whoever triggers it.

  • Document intake & validation
  • Report generation in house format
  • Hebrew RTL documents that don't come out scrambled
Plugins & MCP

Connected to the real systems

Skills bundled with the connectors they need, installed once and shared across a team, so the assistant reads and writes where the work already lives.

  • Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, CRM
  • Custom MCP servers over internal APIs
  • Cloudflare Workers & D1 for the glue
Agents & Automation

Work that happens without you

Scheduled runs and event-driven flows that do the routine pass on their own and only surface what needs a human.

  • Scheduled ingest and follow-up runs
  • Zapier / webhook orchestration
  • QA angle: monitoring, regression, release checks
Open source cypress-runner-mcp. An open-source MCP server (TypeScript, MIT) that hands a Cypress test runner to an AI agent: run a single spec or the whole suite, watch live output while it executes, list the specs in a project, pull the screenshots from a failure, and stop a run mid-flight. Where the QA half and the AI half of this page actually meet. More at github.com/guyco6742.
Shipped Scanned documents → clean Markdown. OCR pipeline that turns unreadable scanned reports into structured text an assistant can actually reason over, at a fraction of the tokens, none of the manual retyping.
Shipped Any spreadsheet → a visual dashboard. Drop in an Excel, CSV or PDF and get a standalone HTML dashboard with KPIs, charts and the insights that matter, built to the question being asked, not a fixed template.
Shipped One video, three platforms. A publishing flow that validates the format, drafts the caption and pushes a marketing clip to Facebook and Instagram automatically, with the TikTok upload prepped and waiting.
Live store MergeCottonFlict on Etsy. A print-on-demand shop for developer humour t-shirts, run end to end through AI tooling: designs drafted in conversation, then pushed straight into Printify as real products, priced, and published to Etsy without touching a dashboard. The whole shop is the demo.
Shipped An organizational memory. A living knowledge base a whole team writes into and every future conversation reads from, so policy, process and hard-won lessons stop living in one person's head.
